I have had a few favorite Oscar hosts: Billy Crystal, Bob Hope, and even Jon Stewart (yes, I thought he did a good job!). This year I am excited about Neil Patrick Harris taking the reigns as he has done such a fantastic job hosting the Tonys, and I love practically everything he does. I even read his Choose Your Own Adventure-themed autobiography. The song and dance numbers will be great, the writing will be stilted, and the show will run long. But the main reason us pop culture junkies tune in every year is to pick the winners! So here are my predictions for this year’s Oscars; I will be offering them by film instead of by categories so we can see who the big winners really are…
